Hi Pat,
Thanks for your quick response. Just to let you know, I
received the book today and was very surprised by your quick
service. I am very please with my overall experience with
Coast Investment Software.
I really look forward to
doing more business with you in the future. Please update me
on any new versions or new releases of the DiNapoli Predictor

that you can do a rework of this product to make it usable by
system traders like me.
Thank you and Happy New

Hi Joe,
To trade and make money one should stick to their trading
methodology, this is the only way for me to know if I am at
fault or is it the methodology, therefore I can sort the
problem out at hand and go forward.
The rules state that a failure is a very strong Directional
indicator in play and we should ride with it, so I never see
this as a problem. The trading plan is laid out, so I sitck to
it.
No second guessing or changing horses in midstream for me
anymore.
I had no problems getting on board the failure, they nearly
always turn out as very profitable trades. Thanks to the
techniqes you put forward to us, they are paying of
handsomely.
All the best

1999 Subject: Great Seminar
Neal,
I just wanted to thank you again for a great seminar. I
really liked your teaching style and learned a lot in the two
days we had. I think the biggest help for me was putting many
of the different components of Joe's book into a coherent
context that I could work from. I just wasn't seeing some of
the system linkages and connections until they were discussed
at the seminar. The material's you presented and the
discussion really helped me see the forest thru the trees. I
understand time frame and direction much better and have made
adjustments in my trading approach to reduce risk and improve
money management.
I've also expanded my application of
LPO's and fibnode retracements and pay much more attention to
thrust. Most important I'm having successful trades with
reasonable expectations and making some money. There's always
more to learn but the opportunity to discuss these techniques
has really cemented things I was doing correctly, and given me
more confidence in applying Fibonacci. Your suggestions and
comments were invaluable!
Overall it was a very worthwhile experience and I plan to
do it again in the future.
Thanks again, it was really
great!!

Dear Neal,
I have just received the "Coast Trading Package"......
However, as student of "Trading with DiNapoli levels",
which I have studied for many, many, months, and with a firm
belief in Joe's method, I wanted the "proprietary Oscillator
Predictor study" as described in Joe's book.......
Looking forward to your reply

<[email protected]> Subject: Re: "Coast Trading

Mel,
You have the correct software, there is only
one Oscillator Predictor.. When Joe's book was printed, the
Coast Trading Package was in a MS-DOS format, what you have is
the revised official Windows version of the Coast Trading
Package.
You will
notice that the "bands" are printed to the right of the most
recent price bar, predicting the maximum overbought and
oversold levels using the parametric equation applied to the
Detrend Oscillator extremes...So the values of the "bands" are
the upper and lower values that would have been supplied by
the old DOS version of the software. This method is approved
by Joe himself and is how he uses it in his
trading.
Thanks for your kind
words -Neal

Dear Joe,
I recently purchased your excellent book
"Trading with Dinapoli Levels", after attending a brief
but highly informative workshop at the SFE Conference in
Sydney - and it's great! I'm using it to greatly enhance my
existing trading plan.
I have recently started using a
simple software program - I have been and still do, handdraw
my charts - but I am realizing the advantages of software. I
have a question relating to the MACD trend
indicator........
I think this book is excellent -
thankyou for sharing your knowledge.

Hello Patrtic, Look in Appendix D- that
will give you the values but as it says in the book -- That
doesn't mean your software has the right equations or takes
all the digits it needs to xx.xx -- it may only take
xx
For a small amount you can be sure
you've got it right by buying Coast TP-- and you get the
Oscillator Predictor to boot.
To succeed in this you must have the
right tools and not take unnecessary chances-God knows there
are enough un controllable issues-

I have spoken with many real traders who have high regard
for your techniques and for you as an individual. Most "system
vendors" are nothing more than scam artists preying on an
unsuspecting public. I have learned the hard way that you need
a mentor if you really want a legitimate shot at becoming a
successful trader.
I look forward to exploring the possibilities that your
years of study can bring to the market we trade. As I told
you, we are Fibonacci traders and believe strongly in these
numbers fulfilling themselves when there is a concentration of
Fibonaccis at a central point in time. However, we have a lot
to learn yet and are searching for the best teachers out there
that will commit to tutoring professional traders like us.
Again, thanks for the phone call....

Dear Pat:
Thank you for the information. J. W. (my better half) and I
will download per your instructions, and look forward to many
years of profitable trading using it. I was already into using
Fibonacci's in my trading, but was looking for more depth and
education in its use. The proportional divider has become my
best friend!
It was a pleasure to visit the Coast booth at the Dxxxxxxx
Exxx a few weeks ago, and a pleasure to meet Neal - and didn't
we meet you, too? We were fortunate to have front row seats
for Mr. DiNapoli's presentation, which was superb but far too
short. He packed a great deal of useful and thought provoking
information into a very short time frame - and convinced both
of us that his course and tools would be well worth the
investment. My latest Nasdaq trade using the Fibnodes has paid
for "Levels" book, the Trading course, the divider, the
software and the Expo fees.
We are now discussing
attending one of Mr. DiNapoli's seminars, perhaps after the
first of the year, so ask that we be kept on the mailing
list.
Thanks for your help, and please give Mr. DiNapoli our best
regards!

Hi Joe,
I am just emailing you to express my thanks for your book,
"Trading with DiNapoli Levels," because it has
really helped me with my commodities trading since I bought
it about a year and a half ago.
I have been trading in the futures markets for 3 years
now.
I would also like to compliment you on your software. It
has cut down my analysis time considerably and is a cinch to
operate.
I..... worked for an xxxxxx-based brokerage for nearly a
year and recommended your study materials to the really
serious traders that I dealt with. I found that most people
wanted winning trades handed to them on a platter and were
not interested in putting forth the amount of effort
neccessary to realistically succeed in this business.
I recently read a published interview with you where you
were quoted as saying to expect to spend 3 to 5
years learning how to trade and about $30,000 to $50,000. I
faxed copies of this interview to people who I
thought would benefit from an accurate perspective of the
futures markets.
Cheers,

Do you know anything about
the other packages/software he (Joe DiNapoli) advertises on
his web site? Have you used his proportional divider?
Stuart, ([email protected])
Response from other member:
Stuart:
I have owned various versions of his
software since the late 1980's. I do own proportional
dividers. In my opinion, unless you keep hand updated
charts [I do], you probably don't need them. The software,
FibNodes, is really good if you use fib retracements,
projections and look for the confluences and agreements in
these numbers. The new version even allows you to connect
it to Signal On-line and have your recent swing prices updated
[I do not have Signal On-line, though I was given a beta
copy of Signal On-line at about the same time and used both
together for real-time trading--very nice].
The older DOS version had some very
nifty market preparations built in that have since disappeared
[but then, most other traders now days have a tool like DT or
GET that allow them to set Oscillator levels and scan, for
instance]. I have the new version on my trading desk, and I
admit I also keep the older version handy as well. This
software fits nicely with my trading tools--and I'd think
traders that use DT or GET and do fib work would find it very
useful.
Finally, I'd add that Joe DiNapoli,
Neal Hughes and Tony DiNatale do a great job of teaching and
answering questions on the forums there. You can ask a
question, beginning or extremely advanced, and they will
patiently set up charts and projections and retracements, etc.
until you understand. And they constantly put up examples that
are in the current markets that would suit the trading
techniques they are teaching. The FibTrader forum is really a
hidden gem.
I don't work for Joe or his firm,
but I do advocate the tools he teaches and the trading styles
shown in his work. I'd say Joe DiNapoli probably taught me
more about trade by trade money management than any other
person during my career. And by the way, he's a nice guy [rare
for high profile traders these
days].
Best,
Tim Morge

WOW - is all i
can say about your trend trading methodology. It is all
dependant on time frame and how the MACD interacts on the time
frame you are trading and the higher time frame. Iit has taken
me around 4 weeks to get this after our seminar together but
it has been worth it. L. was asking about the Trend Analysis
Audio cassette course and I highly recommended it to him,so
you should have heard from him by now. Now let me see if i can

Hello Joe!
I have now devoured the D-Levels book, and it finally
dawned on me why you charge $162 for it. The short time I have
been in the Forum has been, and continues to be, a great
learning experience. Now, I want to know what I can do next
(what makes sense?) to further my D-education.
I'm probably too green for a private tutorial, though I
would like to be notified of the next one. I thought the
trading course might be redundant, but is it? And I know
you have the mini-trading course. Knowing what I've done thus
far, what do you recommend? This approach fully fits my
personality and I can instinctively see the merit in it, so I
want to be as well-educated about it as I can be.
Real trading is essential, and I am now doing that. But
what's the next best step?
